Well yesterday I worked from 3pm to 3am. LOL, no they are not killing me I am still happy with my new job. Two times a year they change all the walls in the store, everything gets gutted cleaned and rearranged, and that was last night. That always takes that long but like I say twice a year so not bad. I still have one more week of training then I am in my store and I am excited. I worked the wall change in my store so I meet a lot of my staff then, they seem like a cool upbeat bunch so I'm all positives right now.
Well except for the fact that every time I go I GET LOST! LOL, I swear it has got to be the easiest mall to get to but I am just the WORST at directions and every time I make just that one wrong turn. But I WILL GET IT! lol.
Other news? I got a puppy! DON'T YELL AT ME! This one is already house trained and well behaved and it's small. I will love it forever I SWEAR! lol. (hiding from Holly here) But I have a problem, my sister had named the dog Co-Co which I like a lot but my neighbors dog has that name and since my dog only had the name for a few short months we want to give her a different name so there is no confusion. We are a really close neighborhood and the dogs hang out, as strange as that sounds. So it would be confusing. So I need you all to give me dog name ideas. Here's some pictures to help you out....

OH and a few weeks ago my cousin has her Sweet 16, but she did it really big (she's puerto rican so they do this big thing) and I got to look all hot for the night. It was fun, my cousin wore a beautiful red dress and everyone that came had to wear black or white. So here are me and my sisters looking hot! And yes I know my tata's were out for the night, but it was so false advertisement cause they don't really look as hot as that. lol. But it was nice to pretend, but as you can tell by the end of the night (last picture) they were on their way down, hahaha...

A Brazilian
Alright ladies. Spill it. Who gets one done? Who's done it before but not again????? Who, like me, wants to but is sooooo scared? lol.
Personally I've wanted to get it done for awhile, but OMG how painful does that sound! I even had a friend tell me that her cousin when and had it done and was bleeding. I mean I am all for being sexy and smooth but I just don't know how much I can endure to get that.
So I am in need of some real direction here. Anyone that has had it done...is it worth it? How long does the pain last?
If the pain isn't all that bad though, or is gone in like a second then I think it beats the hell out of shaving all the freaking time.
Oh and how often do you have to get it done? Cause if you have to wait for the hair to get a certain length before you have it done again wouldn't that be gross? So I don't know, I'm weighing my options here. What to do what to do.
I was going to write a longer blog on this and other stuff but I'm about done now. lol. Not really in the blogging mood. So come on ladies, give me your thoughts. And guys too. What do you think? Is it hot? Or overboard?
And I leave you with....a vidio. ENJOY!

Brothers and Sisters

Does anybody besides me watch this show? And love it as much as me? I'm obFREAKINGsessed withe this show!
Okay, how slutty and skanky are Holly and Rebecca, what a team of mother and daughter. Huh? I was totally on Rebecca's side and was pissed at Joe till the end of the show last week when we saw what really happened.
Which is something I want to talk about. I know Joe and Sarah are having problems and what Joe did was totally wrong, but would you forgive him? And don't you think Rebecca was more in the wrong? It's like she's trying to pull apart their marriage. I think she wants to sabotage the entire Walker family any way that she can. I so don't like her.
And Kitty? OMG she is such a funny drunk/druggie! lol...and Kevin just can't keep his mouth quiet about a damn thing can he?
Why was Nora laughing with Holly at the end? She should have bitch slapped her while she was throwing all that food at her. Oh boo hooo, I don't feel bad for Holly at all.
But I am all stressed over what's going to happen with Tommy's wife! I don't want her to lose any of the babies! I was in tears at the end of the show.
Okay, my wrist hurts, that's all for tonight. TTYL....

Thank God for the Internet! So what do you think???
So what do you all think of my new layout??? Me loves it! MUCHO! I don't know what my thing has been lately. My last three layouts have been black, white, or grey. Or a mix of them all. And they've all had a girl on it.
See it's kinda like my book cover issues. I like to see a person I just don't like anyone to tell me what they look like. Here her face is covered, my last one was a side profile, and the one before her head was down.
I don't know, whatever. All I know is I LOVE THIS LAYOUT! I'm still trying to tweak the side bar though. Not everything is there or in the order I want it. Baby steps though. Right?
I just got done watching One Tree Hill's new episode online! Woo hooo! It was good too. Except that Brook and Payton so wouldn't have REALLY gone to prom wearing their bloodied ripped dresses, with blood and bruises all over themselves too. That was stretching it a bit much don't ya think?
Oh but I did like how Lucas didn't realize it was Dan but they threw that girl in there. That seems like a good twist.
Was it me or did Hailey seem kinda like she was hiding something from Nathan when they were at the place where they took the brick from the wall?
Lastly...how dumb is Mouth??? That's all folks...see ya Monday.
P.S. Why do I feel like I am way to old to be watching this show? I'm only twenty freaking five! Sheesh. And don't ask what is up with the P.S. shit. I don't know. haha.

Help. And a give away....
I have a dilemma I need help with. So put your helpful caps on and give me advice. But first let me say Nikki over at Now What the Hell do I do? Is giving away a peice of her Homemade Jewelry for Mothers Day! So go enter.
Okay now back to my problem.
As you all know I am leaving my current job at #1 Jewelers, where I am a part time sales associate, and going to work full time as an Assistant Manager at #2 Jewelers.
Also something to know is the Regional Manager for #2 is the former Regional for #1. So without getting into all the drama it's not a comfy situation between my current employer and my soon to be employer. And the RM for #2 is married to the boss I had before the boss I have now. The boss I have now doesn't really like her .
But anyway I'm getting distracted with all the details.
Obviously I am going to give my two week notice, I would never just quite. But I don't want to tell my boss where I am going. And if I knew I could get away with not telling I would. But the Jewelry world is kind of small with people from both stores knowing and talking to each other and I'm sure it'd come out before my two weeks were up and there for be worse than if I just told her.
The thing is my boss is a very ..... well she takes her job very personal. And I know she'll take it as a personal slight that I'm leaving, especially to work for my previous boss.
I mean my boss now kinda views herself as a motherly (abet a mean one) to me. She's always buying me dinner and giving me clothes. Yup, I'm not joking. She spends to much money all the time. Then she'll tell me she doesn't like it anymore and give it to me. She's given me $150.00 boots, Ann Taylor clothes, Nine West shoes. You know I won't be wearing anything from her when I give my notice. lol.
I just don't know. What should I do? Me and my boss have kind of a love hate thing going on. I mean she is a horrid bitch a lot of times, but so am I. And I know in her way she cares about me and this will really hurt her.
And not to mention one of my closest friends is my Assistant Manager now and I know she's gonna take a lot of shit when I leave. Our boss is going to assume she knew the whole time and kept it from her and there for she'll get the shit end of everything for awhile. Our boss can hold a grudge.
I don't know that there is really any solution to my dilemma but to be honest...but I just thought I'd ask for any advice that might be out there.
Come on I need help here. Where are all my peeps? I feel neglected here.
Oh and I am taking a big chance here, maybe a stupid one, cause I was looking at my Active Meter and there are two readers from my exact area of home and work....hmmmm....what are the chances???

WHY, WHY....OMG I wanna cry!
EVERY FREAKING WEEK I WATCH AMERICAN IDOL AND IF I AM NOT HOME I RECORD IT! AND EVERY FREAKING WEEK WHEN I RECORD IT I ASK JOSH TO WAIT TILL I GET HOME TO WATCH IT WITH ME! AFTER SAYING THAT CAN ANYONE TELL ME WHY HE WATCHED IT WITHOUT ME LAST NIGHT AND THEN WATCHED BASEBALL WHEN I GOT HOME FROM WORK?????
ALSO.....
My DVR is on the floor in our room since we are moving and everything is everywhere. Josh has to walk over it to get to his dresser. WHY THE HELL DID HE WALK ON THE CORD SO IT THEN PULLED OUT OF THE DVR AND MOST IMPORTANTLY NOT RECORD THE NEW EPISODE OF ONE TREE HILL LAST NIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So does anyone know when I can catch a rerun of tonight's show?
Okay and how sad is it that Chris left???? I was soooo sad, but I gotta tell you I was so scared it was going to be Blake, with the risk he took this week. Thank God it wasn't. The whole time they were up there I was going "omg omg I can't look" and Abby was covering my eyes going "it's okay mommy don't look" lol. She is sooo cute.
I really hope we see Chris with a CD out soon though, I think he's good enough. Here is his performance from this week, I think he did great:
And although Phil wasn't my most favorite in the show I wasn't ready to see him leave. He was just starting to get really good in the last few weeks.
Here is Phil's performance from this week, I think this was one of his best performances:
I really wish Lakisha would leave. I can't stand watching her. lol, Josh was almost gagging when Simon kissed her. It was soooo funny! Take a look:
I persoally LOVED what Blake did to the song he sang. I love him!!! Here he is:

Friends
Are you a good friend?
Usually I tell people I'm not a great friend.
I mean I'm good in the sense that I will always love you always have your back never allow anyone to disrespect you or anything, and when it REALLY counts I am there. But bad in the way that I forget things (like random get together dates set up), don't call sometimes, get busy with my kids and work and not have time for you.
So I don't know, does that mean I'm good or bad? Or just normal?
I get annoyed at my friends though when I don't get a basic respect that I give. And I don't think that's to much to ask for. I give you my utmost respect and honesty all the time. Even if I totally forget I said I'd do something with you I will tell you that instead of lying to you.
So if I am mad at you I tell you. If I want to do something and it may or may not hurt your feelings? I'll tell you.
I don't sugar coat things, I'm blunt and straight to the point.
I'm a bitch sometimes but I think at the end of the day I'm pretty damn good to my friends. And I'm sick of finding out that I don't always give my friendship to deserving people. It's a waste of my fucking time.
So, this post doesn't really have an exact purpose. Nothing in particular happened. There have been random things going on with different people in my life lately and I just wanted to vent.
But I am interested in what you have to say. What is a true friend to you? Are you a good friend? Are you always honest or do you think there is nothing wrong with a little white lie every once in awhile?

Jordon Moment~ Color of Friendship plus a little more
Last week Jordon and Abby stayed the night at my MIL's house. And without fail every time they go over my in laws buy them a new movie,or toy or something. This time it seems to have been a movie, or at least I'm guessing since I never heard of this movie on TV.
As we were all buckled into the car after picking up the kids and on our way to my parents house Jordon spoke up from the back seat.
Jordon~ "I watched a new movie at grandmoms."
Me~ "Oh yeah, baby? What was it called?"
Jordon~ "Color of Friendship."
Me and Josh just gave each other a look...Me~ "Oh? Well what was it about?"
Jordon~ "A white kid that wanted to be friends with the black kids but they didn't want to be."
Me~ (wondering what the hell my MIL showed him) "Well that's not right now is it?"
Jordon~ "No but in the end they were all friends, cause color doesn't matter."
Me~ "Your right, it doesn't. Just like you have all different friends at school."
Then he went on and on listing all his friends from his class that were Puerto Rican, Black, Chinese and more. But that was basically the end of it.
Till we got to my parents house. I over hear my dad talking with Jordon and Jordon is telling him about the movie. They basically have the same conversation until I hear Jordon say this:
Jordon~ "But there really aren't any black people"
Poppi (my dad)~ "There aren't?"
Jordon~ "No they are brown"
My dad just laughed at him, but I just had to comment...
Me~ "Jordon, what about Jazzy's daddy?" (my niece's father is African, and just about as black as can be)
Jordon~ "Oh he's black"
Me~ "So there are black people?"
Jordon~ "No he's the only one."
LMAO! I was rolling. I told Mike (Jazzy's dad) and Sarah (my sister) and they thought it was hysterical.
So do you think that this is an issue we should bring up to children with these type of movies? Cause I mean Jordon really seems to have learned some things from it. But at the same time, I never really thought of it and would have just let him live and go on with life as is. I mean he's got lots of different friends and I had never before felt the need to point out that there are different colors and why and to be nice and not judge. He never did so it wasn't an issue. Not that I care that my mother in law showed him the movie. But what is your take on it?
Growing up color just was never an issue for me. I lived in Trenton, NJ. The city, but not the worst of it. In my neighborhood there were just as many Black, White, Puerto Rican, and Italian people. And we all hung out. I mean granted there were the gangs...The Pit Bulls were the guys from the burg and were mostly Italian and the Latin Kings which oveously were Hispanic. But you see that in any city. My point being that it didn't phase me.
I was always attracted to Puerto Rican and Black guys, and it was never an issue in my house. My sister's baby's daddy (that sounds so funny) and current boyfriend (same guy) is black. He's from the Ivory Coast in Africa. And it is funny how much color never phases us.
I remember showing some pictures around at work a few years ago when Mike and Sarah first got together. He was a senior and she was in 10th grade. So when this older white woman I worked with got to a picture of the two of them and said "Oh what do your parents think about that?" I automatically thought she meant that Sarah was dating in general. So I was all "Oh you know, they're getting used to it. She had to start dating sometime." But when she looked at me like I was crazy I realized that she didn't mean that Sarah was dating but that Mike was Black. And you know what? It offended me. It offended me that anyone would think that my family is like that, cause I think it is so wrong.
I come from a large family with lots of mix in it. My dad is Puerto Rican, my mom is 1/2 Italian and the rest German and Irish. I mean I've got it all. Then I have a niece that is half African (in the real sense of the word since Mike isn't even a citizen here yet). It just doesn't matter.
But what does matter to me and bothers me is when people make it a big deal for themselves. I work with a woman that is about the same age as my mom (46ish) and every time a person walks into the store and doesn't want help it's cause she's black. Ummm, couldn't it be just the simple fact that they are rude and don't want anyone's help?
Anyone that's been around for awhile and has read my IRK's knows that one of them is BET. I cannot stand the fact that there is a BLACK entertainment television channel. What an uproar there would be if there was a White ET. And yeah, I've got the argument from the woman I work with that there are Latin channels. And what do I say? It's cause they speak a different Language! I mean go and watch it, there are many different people on the channel they just all speak Spanish.
So when this big to do has been being made over the African American books I just had to roll my eyes and say here we go again. Why are romance books written by Black women not sectioned with all the romance books? Why are the suspense books written by Black people not sectioned with the suspense books? Why are they on a big old separate place for just AA?
Honestly at first I thought that it was all the authors choosing. But the more this stuff is floating around the more I'm learning. I still don't' know facts on it but I from what I hear it may be the publishing companies that are making this separation.
Either way I don't like it. When I pick up a book to read I read it cause it is well written and I like the plot. Half the time I have no idea what the author looks like, let alone her color, till I'm done the book and see the picture on the inside of the back cover. That is if there even is a picture put there.
I actually worked with a woman that told me her husband read a lot. When I asked her what he read she said Black authors. ???? Am I missing something here? So I asked again, "No what type of books does he like?" and she repeated Black Authors. Since when is that a type of book? I mean there are black authors that write romance, non-fiction, suspense, every damn thing. How can "black authors" be the type of book you read? Isn't that a bit racist?
But there it is, I could go on forever. But I'm gonna stop here. These are just a small window into my thoughts on these topics. Go on now, grill me. Give me hell. lol.
What do you all think???

Tell Me What You Want, What You Really Really Want...

Okay sorry I just had to go there. When I decided to write about this it was the first thing that popped into my mine. But now that I've got it out of my system, let's move on....
So, this morning I was watching the news (a very uncommon thing for me to do) and they did a piece on a new dating service that premiered in New York City last night.
What sets this company apart from others? What's their new and improved ideas? Well it's cutting right to the chase. What do women want? What do men want? Really?
To qualify women need to be hot! Yup, that's the qualification, it is only $30 for the women to sign up, and a minimum of 5 photos.
Men need to make anywhere from $200,000 to $500,000 a year depending on their age. And I believe the fee is either $300 or $500 for them. Oh and no age requirement or photos necessary.
When some were interviewed and asked if they thought this made them seem shallow they said "No we're just not wasting time, and being honest" it was said that when women talk to their friends about a new guy the first thing asked most of the time is "What does he do?" And with men it's "What does she look like?" So it just getting there a little faster.
They said they plan on doing another event with the women with the money and the hot guys. We'll see if that actually ever happens. lol.
So what do you think? Is this as shallow as it seems on first glance? Or is it really just cutting to the chase?

Your loss is my gain!
Okay so tell me what you think about this....
Last week when we were cleaning up the store to close I found a bag with shoes in it. They were actually the shoes in the picture but with a different pattern on them. Cheetah print, in a bad way.
If they were the ones in the picture I might have kept them, lol. Or not they really weren't good quality. Wet Seal. Anyway I put them in the back of the store thinking someone would come to claim them sooner or later.
Well that was over a week ago.
My boss's last day of work before her vacation was on Friday and she told me that she didn't care what happened to the shoes but to make sure they were gone before she got back. Cause they were cluttering up the back room.
Soooo last night when I was working I looked in the bag and the receipt was in there and they were paid with by cash! Woot woot!
I returned them and got the cash! OMG am I horrible? What else should I have done? I really needed the cash too so it was like a gift from God. lol. It was only $25.
Comon honest thoughts here, am I a bad person? What would you have done?

What do you think?
I don't know if this was actually said by Ben Stein but I got this email and decided instead of emailing to everyone I'd just post it here. If you've already heard it, which I'm sure a lot of you have, then just tell me what you think. If you haven't read it take the time to now and again...tell me what you think. Me? I agree wholeheartedly with everything here.
If they know of him at all, many folks think Ben Stein is just a quirky actor/comedian who talks in a monotone. He's also a very intelligent attorney who knows how to put ideas and words together in such a way as to sway juries and make people think clearly.

This is a comment from Ben Stein

Herewith at this happy time of year, a few confessions from my beating heart: I have no freaking clue who Nick and Jessica are. I see them on the cover of People and Us constantly when I am buying my dog biscuits and kitty litter. I often ask the checkers at the grocery stores. They never know who Nick and Jessica are either. Who are they? Will it change my life if I know who they are and why they have broken up? Why are they so important?
I don't know who Lindsay Lohan is either, and I do not care at all about Tom Cruise's wife.
Am I going to be called before a Senate committee and asked if I am a subversive? Maybe, but I just have no clue who Nick and Jessica are.
If this is what it means to be no longer young, it's not so bad.
Next confession:
I am a Jew, and every single one of my ancestors was Jewish. And it does not bother me even a little bit when people call those beautiful lit up, bejeweled trees Christmas trees. I don't feel threatened. I don't feel discriminated against. That's what they are: Christmas trees.
It doesn't bother me a bit when people say, "Merry Christmas" to me. I don't think they are slighting me or getting ready to put me in a ghetto. In fact, I kind of like it. It shows that we are all brothers and sisters celebrating this happy time of year. It doesn't bother me at all that there is a manger scene on display at a key intersection near my beach house in Malibu . If people want a creche, it's just as fine with me as is the Menorah a few hundred yards away.
I don't like getting pushed around for being a Jew, and I don't think Christians like getting pushed around for being Christians. I think people who believe in God are sick and tired of getting pushed around, period. I have no idea where the concept came from that America is an explicitly atheist country. I can't find it in the Constitution, and I don't like it being shoved down my throat.
Or maybe I can put it another way: where did the idea come from that we should worship Nick and Jessica and we aren't allowed to worship God as we understand Him?
I guess that's a sign that I'm getting old, too.
But there are a lot of us who are wondering where Nick and Jessica came from and where the America we knew went to.
In light of the many jokes we send to one another for a laugh, this is a little different: This is not intended to be a joke; it's not funny, it's intended to get you thinking.
Billy Graham's daughter was interviewed on the Early Show and Jane Clayson asked her "How could God let something like this Happen?" (regarding Katrina)
Anne Graham gave an extremely profound and insightful response. She said, "I believe God is deeply saddened by this, just as we are, but for years we've been telling God to get out of our schools, to get out of our government and to get out of our lives.
And being the gentleman He is, I believe He has calmly backed out. How can we expect God to give us His blessing and His protection if we demand He leave us alone?"
In light of recent events...terrorists attack, school shootings, etc. I think it started when Madeleine Murray O'Hare (she was murdered, her body found recently) complained she didn't want prayer in our schools, and we said OK.
Then someone said you better not read the Bible in school . The Bible says thou shalt not kill, thou shalt not steal, and love your neighbor as yourself. And we said OK.
Then Dr. Benjamin Spock said we shouldn't spank our children when they misbehave because their little personalities would be warped and we might damage their self-esteem (Dr. Spock's son committed suicide). We said an expert should know what he's talking about. And we said OK.
Now we're asking ourselves why our children have no conscience, why they don't know right from wrong, and why it doesn't bother them to kill strangers, their classmates, and themselves.
Probably, if we think about it long and hard enough, we can figure it out. I think it has a great deal to do with "WE REAP WHAT WE SOW."
Funny how simple it is for people to trash God and then wonder why the world's going to hell.
Funny how we believe what the newspapers say, but question what the Bible says.
Funny how you can send 'jokes' through e-mail and they spread like wildfire but when you start sending messages regarding the Lord, people think twice about sharing.
Funny how lewd, crude, vulgar and obscene articles pass freely through cyberspace, but public discussion of God is suppressed in the school and workplace.
Are you laughing?
Funny how when you forward this message, you will not send it to many on your address list because you're not sure what they believe, or what they will think of you for sending it.
Funny how we can be more worried about what other people think of us than what God thinks of us.
Pass it on if you think it has merit. If not then just discard it... no one will know you did. But, if you discard this thought process, don't sit back and complain about what bad shape the world is in.

Hot or Not? Right or Wrong?
Yesterday Dylan, Izzy, Myself, Holly and Daphne had an email debate on a few things. And since I don't really think any of us ended up agreeing with each other (except for Dylan and Holly) I wanted to open it up to all of you.
It started off with me bringing up the fact that a stripper in Vegas that I thought was hot ended up not being when I actually saw a picture one of us got of his entire face. See that night he had a hat on that covered his eyes and most of his nose. To my surprise though not everyone, barley anyone, agreed with me. So I got to thinking....I always thought men were either hot, cute, okay or ugly and that everyone would agree on what category a man would fall in. I mean if he's hot he's hon and if he's not he's not right? Well obviously not. I will post a picture of the one I don't think is hot, and a picture of one I really thought was hot. Now both Dylan and Holly's opinions on these two guys are complete opposite of my thoughts...What do you think?
HOT
NOT
I guess sometimes it falls into what do you like? Blond? Light? Brown eyes? Etc. Etc. But when a guy has a big nose, sunken eyes and long pushed back teeth with bad lips I would think he is just ugly. lol. See how different we can all be. But moving on here.....
That was not the only thing we all disagreed on yesterday. I also said that I think strip clubs for men vs. women are totally different. And that I think a lap dance for a woman is more okay than for a guy. Take for example when we got our dances. The music was modern pop it wasn't sooooo dark, we were all together laughing and yelling. The guys actually would pose for pictures as they were doing the dances. It was more in fun then let me turn you on. Now down stairs where the women danced my husband also got a dance along with a few other men. Down there it is dark the women don't dance they gyrate their hips on a pole and slap their boobs around, then when they give you a dance there is nothing fun about it. It is all about turning the men on and such. I mean come on the woman asked my husband if he wanted to go into the VIP room in the back for a half hour, it would only be $300 and she would ..... yeah I think you know. And your gonna tell me that there is no differences between the two? You can't even have a camera where the girls dance. If it is the same why is that different?
I'm gonna let you see some of the emails going back and forth between us girls. Then I want your opinions too. But don't get confused if we jump around a lot down here, there were over 100 emails and so I'll just be posting up a few.
(okay so the day started with a few emails back and forth on men being hot or not, then it moved on to strip clubs. I took a break from emailing since I wasn't feeling well, and when I got back there were a ton of emails. I'll show you a few then I'll show you my responses.)
Dylan:
Hey wait...so how did the whole strip clubbing business come around? So did you guys change your mind the whole touching is cheating business at the strip club? Cause you naughty girls were all about the touching, LMAO.
(she is saying this cause my rule always was you can go but you can't touch, but you'll see in my next email what my thoughts were behind letting it be in Vegas)
Holly:
The atmosphere is different from the men and women. Where the girls are, it's dark and quiet and the guys just sit and drool, they don't talk or laugh or whatever. But with the men, the girls are all wild and crazy, snapping pics and cat calling, plus, it's darker where the girls are. That's why she says it's different.
I disagree. What's good for the gander is good for the goose, but whatever. The thing is, having been there now, it didn't bother me at all to see MM in the strip club. Even knowing a stripper sat on his lap and he touched her boob doesn't' bother me. But whatever, Niks is weird. LOL
Izzy:
The way I see it, yeah we drooled over the guys, but we're screaming, laughing giggling, and all that. We go to have fun and have a few laughs. Guy go to get horny.
Dylan:
Alright, this is going to be our first debate Nikki...because I don't see how the whole atmosphere being different to be a factor in why it's okay for you to get lap dances but not Josh...no matter what kind of atmosphere there are at the strip club, these are the facts: Some guy is dancing all up on you and you're touching his family jewels and just having a good time, as long as you don't go home with the guy, why can't Josh do the same? Josh paid for his lap dance, so he cops a feel on the girl, she does a little dance for him, throws her boobs in his face, whatever...at the end of the night, Josh comes home to you, so regardless of the atmosphere, if it's okay for you to get your fun on with a stripper, then why is it a big deal if Josh is doing the same?
Me:
Ummmm, NO! Goodness, I go take a rest and you girls get it all mixed up! lol. I had no problem with Josh getting a lap dance in Vegas. But my rule still stands that he can't ever get one again. Over in Vegas it's like that saying "What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas" DON'T BRING IT HOME! Now can Josh go to strip clubs here? If it is for a bachelor party yes, just to hang no. That's my rules plain and simple.
Is it different for guys and girls? (lap dances/strip clubs) YES! Don't know why but it is. The guys sit and drink and look at a girl with barley any panties on gyrate her hips on a pole the entire reason for a lap dance is to get them all horny. For the women the guys were really dancing to pop music and they were laughing and having a good time. When we got a dance they would strike a pose for a picture. IF you want to say it's the same thing why can't the men take pictures? Cause it's not the same at all.
But in saying all that, I wasn't mad at Josh for his lap dances. I thought I would be but when he told me I didn't' care.
Oh and how bout this.....the girl that danced for Josh asked him if he wanted to go to the VIP room and said it would be $300 for a half hour and she would suck his dick! Hmmmm, how many guys offered to eat us? Yeah didn't think so. VERY different!
Dylan:
Okay nowhere did we mention anything about blow jobs, that's a different debate, one we'll ALL be on the same page about...but we're talking lap dances, doing the same thing YOU GUYS did at the strip club, none of this bringing in other stuff nobody knew about.
As far as bringing it home...so you're saying that Josh can't go to strip clubs at home at all, but you can? Right? That's what I remember you saying, which is what sparked the whole goose and gander thing...so can he and can you?
Me:
Josh has before and I'm still fine with him going to a strip club FOR A BACHLOR PARTY ONLY! I do not think it is okay for him to just go for the heck of it.
I will probably only ever go to a strip club if my sisters want to go. Neither have gone and if they go I'll go with them. But will I make a weekend trip thing out of it all the time? NO. I don't think it's good for either guys or girls to do that all the time.
And the blow job thing is part of it, cause that is why it is not okay for lap dances, and why it is different for men. Cause that is what happens some of the time. And it has nothing to do with OUR guys it has to do with the girls. I mean really think about it, do you hear of girls going to strip clubs and get guys offering to go down on them in a VIP room for $300???
Holly:
So by your own admission it's ok for you to go with your sisters, but it's not ok for josh unless he's going to a bachelor party? HELLO DOUBLE STANDARDS! And it is NOT different because of the blow job thing. PuhLEEZ! I think what it comes down to is if you guy WOULD TAKE THE BJ OR NOT! So...unless you think he's screwing around on you, I don't see why you'd get upset...
Me:
No that's not right at all. His bachelor party thing is the same as my sister thing. Both puts limits on how often we would go. Josh goes to a bachelor party what? Maybe two a year, max. I would go with my sisters once for their first time. So that's about the same. What is the double standard there? And I don't care how much anyone argues there are major differences in the atmosphere in both clubs, and a difference in the lap dances. And it has nothing to do with trusting Josh isn't screwing around on me. There are some situations you just shouldn't be in, plain and simple. And one where a naked woman is offering to suck your dick after just rubbing her scantly clad pussy on it is one of those situations. And Josh agrees. That was his first lap dance(s) and he's done. He has no issue with going with his buddies for a B party and watching the groom get a big joking lap dance IN FRONT OF THEM ALL, but those kinds are all in good fun.
Dylan:
That still don't make a lick of sense, Nicole.
It shouldn't be okay for you to go to strip clubs to get lap dances but not okay for Josh. And you say that it's because of the offers he gets that he can't get those, I can't see why you would punish JOSH for something someone else said or offered. Now I'd only see it being an issue if Josh actually took the offer then yeah, BIG NO NO and NO MORE STRIP CLUB and big time DIVORCE but that is a big time DOUBLE STANDARD, if you can go but he can't. If Josh can't go to strip clubs than you shouldn't be able to go with your sisters. Because you never know, maybe the next strip club YOU will get the offer, you wouldn't want Josh to get mad at you because of something someone else offered? You didn't take it but you still got punished for it, where's the fairness in that?
Me:
I DID NOT say that he couldn't go to the clubs. I said he can't get lap dances. And even though I do think there are big differences in the dances girls and guys give I still am not going to be getting any more. And how am I having a double standard? Didn't you read what I wrote about me going with my sisters will end up being less of an amount of time then when Josh goes for his B parties? I am so not getting what is wrong with what I'm saying.
And that is dumb for saying it only matters if he takes the bait. It's like saying to Josh "Okay you can go out with your brother and his friends while they smoke pot as long as you don't accept when they offer it to you." Ummm No he just should not be there. Hello!
(Just for the record his brother doesn't smoke pot, I was just using that for an example.)
Daphne:
i think what nikks is trying to say is that.. .it's better to have preventative controls than detection controls. better to not put josh in the path where he could be tempted to do things like that (preventative) rather than find out later and get in a fight (detection)
Holly:
Which I understand. However, my issue is with her saying she'd get another lap dance, but Josh can't. How is THAT ok?
Me:
Umm if I said that it was a miss-type cause I think just a post or two ago I said that there are major differences in the two different type of lap dances but at the same time I won't be getting another.
Holly:
See, but I disagree, because even tho she's saying she doesn't want another one, she did say it would be OK if she wanted to, because it's not like it is when the men get them. See....
There are a lot more where that came from but I think you get the point of all of our sides. So now....what do you think??? Or maybe is it not as black and white to you? Fill me in, I'm all kinds of eager to hear your thoughts.

I really don't get it
Why do you call someone a name that does not apply? See I call people names when I'm mad or pissed. If they are acting like a bitch I'll call them a bitch, if they are acting slutty I'll call them a slut. But why if it has nothing sexual related at all would a woman call another woman a whore??? How demeaning and disrespectful are some women to others??? Anyway I just wanted to put that out there, I may expand on this but for now that's all. Just WHY?

I Can't Pray???
I saw this on a new blog I found, Everybody Can Just Bite My Ass, and had to post it. She got it from an email someone sent her, and I don't think it could be said any better. By the way, I love this new blog. So funny, and great topics. It's going on my Blogs I love List.
After being interviewed by the school administration, the teaching prospect said, "Let me see if I've got this right:
"You want me to go into that room with all those kids, correct their disruptive behavior, observe them for signs of abuse, monitor their dress habits, censor their T-shirt messages, and instill in them a love for learning.
"You want me to check their backpacks for weapons, wage war on drugs and sexually transmitted diseases, and raise their sense of self esteem and personal pride.
"You want me to teach them patriotism and good citizenship, sportsmanship and fair play, and how to register to vote, balance a checkbook, and apply for a job.
"You want me to check their heads for lice, recognize signs of antisocial
behavior, and make sure that they all pass the state exams.
"You want me to provide them with an equal education regardless of their handicaps, and communicate regularly with their parents by letter, telephone, newsletter, and report card.
"You want me to do all this with a piece of chalk, a blackboard, a bulletin board, a few books, a big smile, and a starting salary that qualifies me for food stamps.
"You want me to do all this and then you tell me...
"I CAN'T PRAY?"
Oh and by the way, glad I went with Nicole instead of Nikki. Cause this is the second or third blog I found by a Nikki, and we're all spelled the same way. lol.

A Walk to Remember
This blog was inspired by Holly. I was just over on her blog hopping around and stumbled across her blog Movies that Make Me Cry. And just to give credit where it's due, Holly got the idea from Izzy and her post Tear Jerkers. So when I was reading these blogs the one movie that popped into my head automatically was A Walk To Remember. O.M.G. talk about balling your eyes out EVERY FREAKING TIME! Well that's actually not so true. The first time I saw the movie I didn't even like it. Now let me explain.
I read the book first. LOVED IT!!! Had me crying like a baby. So when my sister got the movie and said she loved it I had to watch it. It was the very first time I watched a movie after I read the book. So I'm expecting it to all be the same. Well maybe that was my mistake. I was mad that the father wasn't what I expected him to be. He didn't look at all like what he was described like in the book. And there were other things too but since it was almost 2 1/2 years ago I can't remember.
But for some reason I watched it again, I think my sister was over and kept playing it. Let me tell you the second time, I was all kinds of into it. I just had to let go of comparing the two. I mean the ending was the same and all so I let my imagination just go with the other changes.
So yeah, every time without fail I cry during this movie. As a matter of fact, I think I may just go watch it again, right now. Well as soon as I'm done this post. lol. Here is a clip of the movie when Mandy sings and she and her man share their first kiss. And the music video Cry from the movie. If I'm completely honest with you? I get chills and teary eyed just from watching these two video's.

Some of my favorite parts?
1) When that mean picture gets passed around of Jamie, and Landon finds out and stands up for her, then runs after her. OMG LOVE him!!!
2) When Landon buys Jamie a new sweater
But the parts that make me cry??? I can't even put into words. I just love this movie.
Other movies that make me cry? Beaches! ALWAYS!!! And....ummmm.....oh freak what's up with my memory? I cry so easily during movies, and now I can't think of any. Hmmm, well if I do I'll put them in the comment section. But this post? Yeah, it's dedicated to my movie A Walk To Remember....

6 dead.....my heart is breaking
This is what Zeek had to say on her page earlier today:
They had the live press conference piped in at work. Everybody was dead silent listening to it.
It's awful.
He's not amish. A local guy who picked up milk from their farms. he was Married with three kids. Sent his kids off to the school bus. Left notes to each of his kids and wife then went to the schoolhouse.
He let the boys go. There were women there (teacher's aids) (one pregnant, I think two others with babys. Let them go too. The teacher got out to call 911). He brought 2x4s and 2x6s and barred the doors. Had a hand gun and a shot gun. Lined up the girls against the chalkboard. Tied their feet (THEIR FEET FOR GOD'S SAKE!) with plastic tie cuffs. Shot. them. in. the. head.
3 confirmed dead. 4 including him. (Coroners saying 6 dead- not confirmed here yet). Numerous airlifted to hospitals all over the place.
They speculate that this is some sort of reprisal for something that happened 20 yrs ago but nothing confirmed.
I'm sick and in tears. (Especially hearing about how they died and that one little girl died in the arms of a cop.)
The ages of the dead so far were 8 to 13 yrs of age ...
This happened not even an hour from where I live. This makes me so sick to my stomach. Why do people do this???? I'm sure we will eventually get more information on the why but it will never change what happened. And it will never make the man come alive so he can pay the consequences for his actions. It's not fair that he gets to do this and then just go away. He should have to suffer. But then again, with the way our system is how much would he actually suffer if he were here to go to jail???
My heart is in a million pieces for these families. And the fear that must have been racing through these little girls minds before they died. I cannot even control my tears as I write this.
It scares me to send my child to school everyday in a world with psycho's like this.

Brothers and Sisters
This show better stay on the air! Brothers and Sisters had me laughing, on the edge of my seat, mad, crying EVERYTHING. I think this show has a ton of potential. But if you go and read the Bloggers and Sisters you'll see the show actually had some hard times getting up and running. With casting and re-shooting. But I'm just glad it's on.
They have one gay brother, which believe it or not, I'm glad about. I really like to see it play out in this big family. Especially since one of the sisters is very into politics and is very conservative. But she loves him still and I don't really see an issue with them. But that sister and the mother really head butt a lot. There's the brother that went off to war and is now suffering issues from that. Then there is the oldest sister that is married with two kids and is having marriage problems. They are going to counseling and all. I am really into that plot line (no comment). There is the other brother that I think is into something with the Uncle in the family business that's not right. Then she finds out their father is somehow involved. The father dies at the end of the show, he has a heart attack and falls into the pool there for drowning. Oh and the political sister? Yeah, so far I think her boyfriend is a pompous ass, we'll see how long he's around. But I really like the show. High hopes everyone, high hopes. It comes on abc on Sundays at 10pm. WATCH IT!!!
