So not much going on here. On Saturday I went to a book convention/fair with my girl Rene (yes that's Rene Lyons. lol) but you can go to SF and read about that. You all know I don't like to blog on books here since I have an entire blog just for that.
The gym thing is going good. But like I said you'll have a weekly update on that. So hang tight, I think I'll post it every.....Friday. Sound good? Good.
I had two freak outs since yesterday! NO I'm not joking, just listen...
First I got a call from Jordon's teacher yesterday. She wants a conference! OMG I start to panic, she says it's not his behavior (he's a great boy (to quote her)) but it's about his progress. Now we already have Parent Teacher Conferences in November. But she wants to do this now. Like this can be good! I think NOT! Now I know Holly's already told me to calm down and go with an open mind, that I don't KNOW what she wants to say. But I already have all these ideas in my head. Like it's got to be about his reading/writing, and if it is I'm gonna flip shit on her. Let me fill you in. My son didn't go to pre-school or anything till now, Kindergarten. And as his mother I taught him to write his name, how to count, the alphabet, colors all that stuff. But to read? I don't have the first clue how to teach someone to read. Did I go to school for that? Ummmm NO, that's what teachers are for. I live in a rich area. Am I? No a far cry from it. We rent a condo over here since it's close to Josh's job. But most people have money. There are either two working parents, or moms that stay home just to have their own time and still put their kids in pre-school. Well guess what? Pre-school isn't free, so Jordon didn't go. I couldn't afford it! So while a lot, if not most, of the kids in his class have been in a school environment for 1-2 years already learning things (reading/writing) Jordon hasn't. And for his teacher to hold him to the standards of these other kids is going to send me into a rage. Kindergarten is the first REAL year of school, this is the year his TEACHER should be teaching him these things. I'm the mom, I encourage his learning, help with the homework, but I shouldn't be the one teaching him these things. I'm not qualified for that. Ugggg. Okay Holly! I'm done!
Weew.
Second freak out. Today before I went to the gym I stopped to pick up some water and a magazine to read. I got People, and there was a big article about the school shooting in the Amish community near by. So while doing my cardio I read the article, almost had me crying in the gym, now it's all fresh in my mind. Everyday I go to Jordon's bus stop at 11:45 am and his bus arrives withing 7 minutes of my arrival. Well today I'm waiting ..... and waiting.... and freaking out! Where the hell is the bus? It is now 15 min. since I've been waiting....I walk to the corner, don't see the bus. I'm on the phone with my best friend and am freaking to her. Josh comes home for lunch and asks why I'm out there since Jordon is usually home and in the house already. So yeah, I'M FREAKING! Well about 5 minutes later a bus rolls in. Freaking going like 1 mph! Not his normal bus. This freaking moron drove so slow no wonder she was so late! OMG talk about giving a parent a heart attack. I'm thinking the freaking bus is being held ransom or something somewhere. SHUT UP! I'm a mom, I'm allowed to be dramatic! When it stopped I gave her a nasty look, kissed my baby and walked away. They better not use her again!
So another think I'm kinda annoyed about.....I'm having one of those party/demonstration things. It's a really cool concept and I like there stuff. Now I don't do these things normally but I want something and figured why not have a party and earn it for free if not at least discounted. Well it's a create your own jewelry thing, all Sterling Silver, 14Kt gold, Swarovski Chrystal, and blown glass. Very nice stuff. They have necklaces, earrings, bracelets, and anklets. Oh even watches! So I send invitations to everyone! I mean EVERYONE!!! What happens? Almost everyone on Josh's side has "something" to do already, my side? No one even freaking RSVP's! Which is no surprise, they never do. So as of now I have my best friend and her mom (who are driving from Delaware! Talk about a great friend!) and she might be bringing another friend, my sister and her friends, maybe my other sister and mom, and two girlfriends from work! I swear I invited about 30 people or so. A lot of my friends from when I lived in PA had some type of excuse too. Now I know it's about a 40 min. drive, but when they have things I go, and I made it on a Friday night so more people would come! Ugg whatever!
So anyway, I am having this party and if anyone is interested to look at the stuff here is the link. If you like something you can email me at jazzy_pez@yahoo.com or Lori Cole (who is the representative) at lorycole@aol.com, and order, it will get shipped right to you. I asked her about all that since I have some friends far away, and she said it isn't a hassle at all since everyone that orders gets their stuff sent right to them. So check it out.
Well I think I'm done. I complained enough for the day. Maybe I'll be back tomorrow with some good stuff to talk about. Maybe....

Dancing With The Stars
Okay can I just say that I love watching this show. FOR THE MOST PART. I mean it makes me want to go out and take ballroom dancing, it looks soooo sexy. Not to mention it would knock off a day at the gym since it looks like such a workout. ha ha.
BUT.....
How much does it piss me off that people that SUCK are still in the competition and the good dancers are going home? I mean Jerry and Sara are still in the competition and Vivica and Monique were in the bottom two? How does that make sense???? IT DOESN'T!
I personally don't even like Vivica, I mean I didn't really know HER till this show. But she seems so conceited, and full of herself. And all that Diva crap hear me roar??? A little annoying. But Tuesday night the girl brought it! She danced. Then she got voted off????? Hello America, are we watching the same freaking show here?
In all honesty Jerry should have gone home last week, not Harry. I mean he did do good with the Waltz this week but he shouldn't have even made it to this week. But let's get back to this week, the worst dance on Tuesday was Sara. She did good last week with the country dance but besides that she's never had it. Her dancing is boring and just plain old bad. Yuck! The looks she has on her face? She looks scary.
And why is that? I mean look at the women, all of them look so much better during their practices then when they perform. I think Vivica looked thick and old in all of her dances, besides this week. The make-up, hair, and outfit. Sara too! Her hair was only good when it was straightened last week. IMO. And I am absolutely loving Willa in the competition but this week whoever did her eye make-up needs to be fired. Ugggg. Sooo bad! Oh and even Mario's teacher, I forget her name. She is sooo pretty but I think she looks so much older and a bit scary when she has her performance face on. But meh, that's just me, I could be crazy....or not.
But let me get back on track here....
I'm not saying that Harry didn't need to go home, cause he did. He was very stiff and mechanical. But you know what I'm saying right? Just the order of who is going and when. The first guy to go, I don't even remember his name, sucked! But then the second week....wait how many eliminations were there? lol, I just remember the first guy, then Harry and now Vivica. Well whatever. Vivica shouldn't have gone home. And if Jerry doesn't go next week I'll be pissed. Then Sara needs to go!
Usually it is so easy for me to pick a favorite but this year is tough. Mario is freaking awesome, but so is Emmitt (did I spell that right?), and Willa (I love her and Maks). Even Monique blows me away. I just can't pick.

All I can say is BYE BYE JERRY AND SARA!!!

Day 1, I did it!!!
Okay okay I know I NEVER blog this much. My normal commenter's (is that a word? lol)aren't even caught up...La Chou...Drake....where are you???? Anyhoo. I just had to give you all an update cause I'm oh so proud of myself!
I went to the gym this morning. Go me!! I did 30 min on the elliptical machine, which was such an accomplishment! I find cardio machines sooo boring. I wanted to get off after the first 10 minutes, scratch that after the first 7 minutes. But I held on strong and did it. It was 2.77 miles and 250 calories burned. I don't know if that is good or not. But I felt good afterwards.
Then I did about 3 or 4 arm machines. I hate doing my arms cause the places I want to feel it I never do. It is sooo annoying. But that's all I had time for, I had to get home to get Jordon at the Bus Stop. But not before I laid in the sauna for 7 minutes. hee hee.
OH oh, and guess what??? I weigh less then I though I do!!! I though I weighted 1something1 but I actually weigh 1something6 (that's going down not up)!!! What? You actually thought I'd tell you how much I weigh? I think NOT!!! lol. So that was soooo exciting.
I try not to give myself an ideal weight cause that varies on how much muscle I get and all that but if I were to set a weight goal I am 31 pounds away from that goal. And it is a realistic goal.
I am all kinds of excited.
I'm going to post up daily drafts about my gym goings and then weekly I'll post them up. You all need to encourage me!!! I'm counting on you.
(yeah and oveously that skinny beep in the picture isn't me!)

Awwww....
I have this friend that I've know for about a year I'd say. And she is an aspiring author. Well she actually has a book coming out in February, so I guess she IS an author. She is so talented and I just love her writing and her. Well as I'm sure I've said plenty of times before, I'm not the best friend a girl could hope for. I don't keep in contact with people all that often. I'm there then I'm not. And I don't do it on purpose I just forget. ALOT! But this friend is great. I recently went to her blog and read some of her stuff and it just reminded me of how great a person she is and how excited I am for her books to come out. And then I see this little link that says Friends Pages so I click.....and I'm on it! I'm number four (guess who's first! Rene Lyons, bitch! lol, love you!) so anyway....I just think it's great that although I'm there one day then not the next and I'm not the best kind of friend, she never forgets me and is always including me! So here it is a great big THANK YOU AND I LOVE YOU to TAMI BOYER!!!
Go here for here for her website
and
here for her blogs
and
here for her friends pages...
You rock Tami, love you girl!!!
(You know I love you too Holly, Dylan, Izzy and Rene. This is just a special shout out cause I talk to you gals daily and not so much with Tami.)

I Made a Deal With the Devil....
Okay so I really really need motivation sometimes. As I'm sure you know, I've been trying to eat healthy to loose some weight. Yes cause in general I should. But mostly cause I'm going to Vegas in just over a month and don't want to be the fat girl.
Yeah yeah I know you all thought I was a skinny bitch. Well sup rise I'm not. Don't hate me. lol. I'm coming out though (again...hee hee) I'm a size.....OMG I don't know if I can say it......ttttwwwwww......don't laugh.......twelve! There, weew I said it! Now don't get me wrong I know I'm not FAT, but I sure ain't thin. And really it's just about being in shape and liking the way I look. And I don't.
I was never a skinny person. The smallest I ever was is a 6. And I'm not even trying for that again. I just want to be an 8 or a really toned hot 10. lol. Basically I want to feel sexy. You know I really think it affects a lot of aspects of my life. I don't like to have sex as much I'm sure cause I don't feel attractive. A post baby body isn't all that great, ya know....
Okay I'm off topic, stop the pity party. So my deal with the devil, and what it has to do with my computer?
Well eating good has lost me 6 pounds but that's about it. And it's been just about 3 weeks I think. So I need to get my ass to the gym. But I ALWAYS say I'm going to go and never do. So I told Josh that I need to make some sort of deal with him to make me go......hence the locked computer.
My computer is my life, well besides my kids, Josh and my books. But he can't take my kids away or my books (to many, where would he put them?) so he said he will lock the computer and will only give me the password after I've gone to the gym for the day. Now that will get my ass out the door! At first I was all HELL NO! But then I'm like, well if I really want to get my ass in gear I need to do something drastic like this. And losing my computer? DRASTIC!!! So he's going to change the password daily when he goes to work and tell it to me when I get home from the gym.
So who has faith in me??? Think I can do it?
I want to go to the gym tomorrow but it doesn't officially start till the 9th of this month. It will then be exactly one month from our trip.
So watch out Holly and Izzy, I'm not gonna be the fat bitch in Vegas. lol. Start eating to help me out. I'll lose and you skinny girls gain. ha ha. LOVE YOU!!!
Oh and side note.....I found a new shampoo and conditioner I LOVE!!! SunSilk Straight and Sleek. I've tried every straightening shampoo and conditioner, serum, cream, and balm. And let me tell you this stuff works! I mean my hair isn't perfect afterwards, but I don't have to twist it and hide it the first day I wash it because of the poof. Let me explain. I don't wash my hair everyday, first cause you shouldn't and second cause if I did it'd always be a big frizz ball. Normally the first day I wash my hair it needs to be in a pony tail or clip. But with this stuff? I can wash it and go to sleep and in the morning it's cool. Run a straightener through it and I'm good to go. I don't have to blow dry it, and I don't have to wait for the second day for it to tame down enough to get a straightener through it. Yeay!!! So there's my pimp. Go get it!!!

I Can't Pray???
I saw this on a new blog I found, Everybody Can Just Bite My Ass, and had to post it. She got it from an email someone sent her, and I don't think it could be said any better. By the way, I love this new blog. So funny, and great topics. It's going on my Blogs I love List.
After being interviewed by the school administration, the teaching prospect said, "Let me see if I've got this right:
"You want me to go into that room with all those kids, correct their disruptive behavior, observe them for signs of abuse, monitor their dress habits, censor their T-shirt messages, and instill in them a love for learning.
"You want me to check their backpacks for weapons, wage war on drugs and sexually transmitted diseases, and raise their sense of self esteem and personal pride.
"You want me to teach them patriotism and good citizenship, sportsmanship and fair play, and how to register to vote, balance a checkbook, and apply for a job.
"You want me to check their heads for lice, recognize signs of antisocial
behavior, and make sure that they all pass the state exams.
"You want me to provide them with an equal education regardless of their handicaps, and communicate regularly with their parents by letter, telephone, newsletter, and report card.
"You want me to do all this with a piece of chalk, a blackboard, a bulletin board, a few books, a big smile, and a starting salary that qualifies me for food stamps.
"You want me to do all this and then you tell me...
"I CAN'T PRAY?"
Oh and by the way, glad I went with Nicole instead of Nikki. Cause this is the second or third blog I found by a Nikki, and we're all spelled the same way. lol.

A Walk to Remember
This blog was inspired by Holly. I was just over on her blog hopping around and stumbled across her blog Movies that Make Me Cry. And just to give credit where it's due, Holly got the idea from Izzy and her post Tear Jerkers.
So when I was reading these blogs the one movie that popped into my head automatically was A Walk To Remember. O.M.G. talk about balling your eyes out EVERY FREAKING TIME! Well that's actually not so true. The first time I saw the movie I didn't even like it. Now let me explain.
I read the book first. LOVED IT!!! Had me crying like a baby. So when my sister got the movie and said she loved it I had to watch it. It was the very first time I watched a movie after I read the book. So I'm expecting it to all be the same.
Well maybe that was my mistake. I was mad that the father wasn't what I expected him to be. He didn't look at all like what he was described like in the book. And there were other things too but since it was almost 2 1/2 years ago I can't remember.
But for some reason I watched it again, I think my sister was over and kept playing it. Let me tell you the second time, I was all kinds of into it. I just had to let go of comparing the two. I mean the ending was the same and all so I let my imagination just go with the other changes.
So yeah, every time without fail I cry during this movie. As a matter of fact, I think I may just go watch it again, right now. Well as soon as I'm done this post. lol. Here is a clip of the movie when Mandy sings and she and her man share their first kiss. And the music video Cry from the movie. If I'm completely honest with you? I get chills and teary eyed just from watching these two video's.

Some of my favorite parts?
1) When that mean picture gets passed around of Jamie, and Landon finds out and stands up for her, then runs after her. OMG LOVE him!!!
2) When Landon buys Jamie a new sweater
But the parts that make me cry??? I can't even put into words. I just love this movie.
Other movies that make me cry? Beaches! ALWAYS!!! And....ummmm.....oh freak what's up with my memory? I cry so easily during movies, and now I can't think of any. Hmmm, well if I do I'll put them in the comment section. But this post? Yeah, it's dedicated to my movie A Walk To Remember....
Have you ever???

Drunk Dialed anyone? If so tell me about it.
I'm to tiered to blog about anything right now so I want to hear about you.
You all know I did from my post The Whiskey Tango. Holly was the lucky girl that night. ha ha ah. But that was a friendly call, how bout any ex calling? Cursing anyone out?
To tell you the truth I think I wanted to call this bitch I don't like, but I deleted her number from my phone, so lucky me. Or lucky her. Whichever.
But enough about me. Today it's all you. Tell me your stories. Make me laugh, or cringe. haha.

6 dead.....my heart is breaking
This is what Zeek had to say on her page earlier today:
They had the live press conference piped in at work. Everybody was dead silent listening to it.
It's awful.
He's not amish. A local guy who picked up milk from their farms. he was Married with three kids. Sent his kids off to the school bus. Left notes to each of his kids and wife then went to the schoolhouse.
He let the boys go. There were women there (teacher's aids) (one pregnant, I think two others with babys. Let them go too. The teacher got out to call 911). He brought 2x4s and 2x6s and barred the doors. Had a hand gun and a shot gun. Lined up the girls against the chalkboard. Tied their feet (THEIR FEET FOR GOD'S SAKE!) with plastic tie cuffs. Shot. them. in. the. head.
3 confirmed dead. 4 including him. (Coroners saying 6 dead- not confirmed here yet). Numerous airlifted to hospitals all over the place.
They speculate that this is some sort of reprisal for something that happened 20 yrs ago but nothing confirmed.
I'm sick and in tears. (Especially hearing about how they died and that one little girl died in the arms of a cop.)
The ages of the dead so far were 8 to 13 yrs of age ...
This happened not even an hour from where I live. This makes me so sick to my stomach. Why do people do this???? I'm sure we will eventually get more information on the why but it will never change what happened. And it will never make the man come alive so he can pay the consequences for his actions. It's not fair that he gets to do this and then just go away. He should have to suffer. But then again, with the way our system is how much would he actually suffer if he were here to go to jail???
My heart is in a million pieces for these families. And the fear that must have been racing through these little girls minds before they died. I cannot even control my tears as I write this.
It scares me to send my child to school everyday in a world with psycho's like this.

The Whiskey Tango
Saturday I'm off to work, 9am to 4pm, not a bad schedule with a retail job. About half way through my shift Josh calls and says he's taking the kids to his moms. Cool, a kid free night.
So after work a friend says her and her boyfriend are going out that night and since we don't have the kids why don't we come. Well Jamie and I have been friends for awhile and while I've met her boyfriend and she's met Josh the two of the guys have never met.
Now Josh doesn't always do good with new people. He is very out going and fun with his group of friends but put him with people he doesn't know? Sometimes you'll hear crickets. But damn it we wanted to go out. So I talked Josh into going, not only was he meeting Jamie's boyfriend for the fist time but about 7 other people that neither of us knew.
Let me just tell you that I ended up puking all over the parking lot at TWT and all over my friends car when this night ends.......want to hear all the juicy details? Well at least the ones I remember??? Okay your dragging it out of me.
We met over one of the people's house that I didn't know and had some pizza and drinks. Now I'm not a big drinker cause I don't know much about drinks. I like something I can't really taste the alcohol in. So I was hooked up with some Citrus Vodka mixed with Crystal Lite, you know gotta watch my carbs, lol. OMG I loved it, so before I know it an hour and and half have passed and I've drank at least 5 big cups of this stuff (I lost count after that). We played a card game called fuck the dealer, and I was drinking even when I was winning. lol.
We all get ready to go to the bar and I started to realize I am feeling a little ummmmm....not sober. But hell I'm having a good time.
We get to the bar and I order the same as my friend, like I said I'm not good with drinks. It was either a Captain and ginger, or something else and ginger, but all I know is it tasted like cream soda so I was loving it. So after this I'm just going to tell you I had four of those drinks and here are the random things I remember, in no particular order:
Dancing with five guys, and one girl. Sometimes one on one sometimes all at the same time.
Stealing other peoples straws out of their cups cause mine kept disappearing. I swear they were stealing my straws all night. Then somehow I ended up with like five of them.
Pulling the front of my shirt down and saying I have no boobs. Then getting some money give to Josh which he then put down my shirt and I threw at Jamie.
Grabbing my husbands 'junk' quite a few times on the dance floor.
Calling some girls skinny bitches.
Smacking my head on the stall door in the bathroom.
Drunk calling my brother and Holly.
Crying over some family issue.
Telling my friends boyfriend he needed to buy her an engagement ring.
Knocking over a few peoples drinks.
Puking in the parking lot.
Puking all over the outside of my friends truck, and it flew back inside on Josh. It also got all over my hair, ewwww. And I was later told that at a red light some old guy was laughing at me puking.
Striping naked as I walked from my door to my bed (which it's a total black hole how I got from the car to the door.)
And guess what? I felt not so bad this morning! I actually woke up and went to work, no headache at all. Just felt queasy all day.
Good times, good times. Next Saturday I'm going out again. Hey this is pretty fun! I should have done this awhile ago.
