Birthdays and hurt...

I don't have a lot to say right now or a lot of time. But as I was thinking earlier today about what to buy my mom and sister for their birthdays I was struck by how hard our birthdays are going to be both this year and every year.

Within a month my mom me and my other sister all have birthdays...the usual birthday thing with us is a birthday breakfast. Even since I've married and moved out my mom has tried to keep the tradition with either Josh doing it and them coming over or me just going there. But birthdays are always with family. So with Hannah's death so recent and all three of us having our birthdays I just have to wonder how it will be.

This was Hannah's 20th Birthday this past April:


I'm sure there will be moments that we're having fun laughing and then the laughter will turn to tears without any warning just cause we'll realize Hannah's not there. She was so much fun. Always making everyone crack up laughing.



Then with gifts....I saw this glass heart that you can have a picture etched in and I wanted it to get it for myself to hang on my rear view mirror in my car. Then I was like 'good idea, I'll get one for my mom' then josh said to get one for Sarah too. At first I thought it was a good idea, I mean I know they would want one, but will it just bring more sadness to their birthdays if I give them something in memory of Hannah? Should I just make it a non-birthday gift and find something else for their birthdays?

I'll tell you one thing Army Wives is like therapy for me right now. Anyone watching this show will know. Sometimes I just want to cry out my pain and every time I watch it it hits right on some of my feelings with Hannah and I have a good cry.

Seriously!

I have lost all respect for George! He was never my favorite character, actually for all of the first season and most of the second I couldn't stand him, but he's grown on me since. And to think after all that he has to go and actually believe Izzy's STUPID and so unbelievable LIE about not having feelings for him. Okay yeah, that's not completely a ploy to get him to stay. WHATEVER! Which by the way I don't want him and Izzy together.

Oh shit! And did you see the tension at the end when Izzy was talking about having the man you love love you back. And Kallie was all twitching, you know she wanted to go Latina on her white ass! lol. No offense, just saying. Also Izzy has been pissing me off beyond words lately. What a skank, have some freaking respect, for both herself and her 'best friend'. If she really cared about him she'd respect his marriage and leave him the hell alone.

Oh and I'm sorry but I am so over Meredeth. Yes it sucks what an ass her father was to her, but I'm tired of all her drama. And you know what? I think Derek deserves better. She pushes him away and then when he gives her space she wants him back. Then he comes back and she ignores him and pushes away again. Make up your damned mind girl!

I soooo want to know what is up with Alex. Not really him and memory girl, although I like her in the show. But him. We don't really know anything about him. I want some deets!

LMAO! And how about the previews for next week? Christina has no eyebrows! That has got to be one of my worst nightmares. Which would explain why I have bushy eyebrows (always forgetting to clean them up with the tweezers, to busy), and won't get them waxed!

And lastly...(since I don't care enough to discuss anything else that happened tonight) WTF happened on that mountain?!?! I think I am more pins and needles over that than anything else. Do you think they'll follow through with it next week? I am all about it!

Brothers and Sisters

Does anybody besides me watch this show? And love it as much as me? I'm obFREAKINGsessed withe this show!

Okay, how slutty and skanky are Holly and Rebecca, what a team of mother and daughter. Huh? I was totally on Rebecca's side and was pissed at Joe till the end of the show last week when we saw what really happened.

Which is something I want to talk about. I know Joe and Sarah are having problems and what Joe did was totally wrong, but would you forgive him? And don't you think Rebecca was more in the wrong? It's like she's trying to pull apart their marriage. I think she wants to sabotage the entire Walker family any way that she can. I so don't like her.

And Kitty? OMG she is such a funny drunk/druggie! lol...and Kevin just can't keep his mouth quiet about a damn thing can he?

Why was Nora laughing with Holly at the end? She should have bitch slapped her while she was throwing all that food at her. Oh boo hooo, I don't feel bad for Holly at all.

But I am all stressed over what's going to happen with Tommy's wife! I don't want her to lose any of the babies! I was in tears at the end of the show.

So what do you all think of my new layout??? Me loves it! MUCHO! I don't know what my thing has been lately. My last three layouts have been black, white, or grey. Or a mix of them all. And they've all had a girl on it.

See it's kinda like my book cover issues. I like to see a person I just don't like anyone to tell me what they look like. Here her face is covered, my last one was a side profile, and the one before her head was down.

I don't know, whatever. All I know is I LOVE THIS LAYOUT! I'm still trying to tweak the side bar though. Not everything is there or in the order I want it. Baby steps though. Right?


I just got done watching One Tree Hill's new episode online! Woo hooo! It was good too. Except that Brook and Payton so wouldn't have REALLY gone to prom wearing their bloodied ripped dresses, with blood and bruises all over themselves too. That was stretching it a bit much don't ya think?

Oh but I did like how Lucas didn't realize it was Dan but they threw that girl in there. That seems like a good twist.

Was it me or did Hailey seem kinda like she was hiding something from Nathan when they were at the place where they took the brick from the wall?

Lastly...how dumb is Mouth??? That's all folks...see ya Monday.

P.S. Why do I feel like I am way to old to be watching this show? I'm only twenty freaking five! Sheesh. And don't ask what is up with the P.S. shit. I don't know. haha.

WHY, WHY....OMG I wanna cry!

EVERY FREAKING WEEK I WATCH AMERICAN IDOL AND IF I AM NOT HOME I RECORD IT! AND EVERY FREAKING WEEK WHEN I RECORD IT I ASK JOSH TO WAIT TILL I GET HOME TO WATCH IT WITH ME! AFTER SAYING THAT CAN ANYONE TELL ME WHY HE WATCHED IT WITHOUT ME LAST NIGHT AND THEN WATCHED BASEBALL WHEN I GOT HOME FROM WORK?????

ALSO.....

My DVR is on the floor in our room since we are moving and everything is everywhere. Josh has to walk over it to get to his dresser. WHY THE HELL DID HE WALK ON THE CORD SO IT THEN PULLED OUT OF THE DVR AND MOST IMPORTANTLY NOT RECORD THE NEW EPISODE OF ONE TREE HILL LAST NIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So does anyone know when I can catch a rerun of tonight's show?

Okay and how sad is it that Chris left???? I was soooo sad, but I gotta tell you I was so scared it was going to be Blake, with the risk he took this week. Thank God it wasn't. The whole time they were up there I was going "omg omg I can't look" and Abby was covering my eyes going "it's okay mommy don't look" lol. She is sooo cute.

I really hope we see Chris with a CD out soon though, I think he's good enough. Here is his performance from this week, I think he did great:

I'm so not alone! American Idol Top 12

If you all remember when I did my 6 Weird Things post, my #1 thing was that I need everything balanced or even. Well Melinda Doolittle on AI last night gave it an even better name: An equal opportunist! LMAO! When she said that, mind you I'm watching it by myself this morning since I was working last night, I started to laugh so loud and I was in shock! I never heard anyone else say they do that too. This is what she said "If I chew on this side I chew on the other side, if I step on a crack with this foot I do it again with the other foot, if I touch something cold with this hand I do it with the other hand. My friends call it OCD but I call it an equal opportunist." I called Josh right away to tell him I'm not the only one anymore but he didn't answer the phone, butt head! lol. But it was a very special moment for me, like I found a long lost sister (even if she has tinnie teeth and no neck, opps.)

Anyway moving on to my real reason for this post.....MY top 12! Not saying this is what is really going to happen because America doesn't always agree with me BUT this is the way I think it should be, as of now.

See I don't know what I really think of him all the time. Sometimes I really like his voice and think it's really different. But then sometimes I wonder why he's there. His eyes? OMG they are great thought, haha.

I cannot stand this boy! UGGG, yuck! The only reason he's on here is cause he has a really great voice that has definitely been showing itself more lately.

Sanjaya OMG he could have been good if he would actually sing instead of whispering his songs. Grr, and the other guy that was a background singer? I just don't like him, I think he'd be better to stay as a backgrounder. Sorry boy.

Now this is my favorite girl. I know she may not have the strongest voice but she's got the most originality and I absolutely love her.


Stephenie Edwards, 19I think this girl can sing anything! She can totally pull off singing the big artists like Whitney and whoever else and do it justice.

WOW! I love this girl. I really am still not sure if I like her or Stephenie better. She is just so comfortable up on stage and she has such presence.


Sabrina Sloan, 27
I really think this girl can sing, she's great BUT she needs to get more of her own style. That's my only issue.

See in the beginning I really didn't want to like her. Call me shallow but I couldn't get past the weird eyes and nose, tinnie teeth, and no neck. But the girl can sing! She rocks! So I'm sure she'll be staying. I especially liked her song last night.

I really think with training this girl can sing. But as of right now she's getting through on good looks or something. Sorry. But I do hope she stays so we can see what she does.

I know a lot of people are all gung ho on Lakisha but I'm just not feeling her. So I'll pass, but I sure could be wrong. I just don't see why all three judges are soooo loving her.

Side note, one of my other favorite shows is coming back soon! Dancing with the Stars!!! Wooo hooo, March 24th (or 27th) lol, I'm not sure. But I have my Tivo set to record!

The Incident

So all this drama happened on Monday I think. I am not a big fan of morning shows so I did not see this live. But as I'm sure we all know a big enough stink was done up over it that everyone has heard. And I'm not going to side here and say I love one and not the other. I love Clays singing, I think he's great. Doesn't mean I think he should be putting hands on others mouths. Kelly I think is funny but do I think she's a interview hog? Yeah. But that doesn't mean she was wrong here. Soooo...My take? Hands are dirty and in all honesty you don't know where any one's hands have been, regardless of their sexuality. They shake someones hand so now on their hand they have their germs the person's hand they shooks germs and everyone that that other person touched germs. And even if we were to go into it being of sexual orientation, why would it be a gay thing? Even if he was straight, which none of us really know, you still wouldn't want his hands on your mouth! Touch a man touch a woman don't put it on my mouth!

First of all she kept saying that she just feels so bad for Clay. Well if she feels so bad for him why is she sitting on her show and saying he's gay? He's never even said it, don't you think that is a little wrong??? I do! And she said Kelly has her perspective and she has hers, Ummm let me think here. NO! Kelly said it, so what Kelly said it means is not a perspective it is the facts! Wake up Rosie. Think before you speak Rosie, think before you speak.

But in the end I can say that I don't think it was such a big deal that Kelly needed to go into all this with Regis. I mean say that you think it was wrong that he had his hand on your mouth, fine. But to make it like this is some horrible person now? Come on, give the guy a break. Regis is right, Clay was probably nervous. But who knows, we'll never know what he's thinking since he seems to keep so much to himself.

I just really think Rosie got out of line with this one, but that tends to be my thoughts on a lot involving her. And no that doesn't make me a homophob! lol. So what are your thoughts? Come on, I want to here, no matter who you agree with on this.

Okay can I just say that I love watching this show. FOR THE MOST PART. I mean it makes me want to go out and take ballroom dancing, it looks soooo sexy. Not to mention it would knock off a day at the gym since it looks like such a workout. ha ha.


BUT.....

How much does it piss me off that people that SUCK are still in the competition and the good dancers are going home? I mean Jerry and Sara are still in the competition and Vivica and Monique were in the bottom two? How does that make sense???? IT DOESN'T!




I personally don't even like Vivica, I mean I didn't really know HER till this show. But she seems so conceited, and full of herself. And all that Diva crap hear me roar??? A little annoying. But Tuesday night the girl brought it! She danced. Then she got voted off????? Hello America, are we watching the same freaking show here?




In all honesty Jerry should have gone home last week, not Harry. I mean he did do good with the Waltz this week but he shouldn't have even made it to this week. But let's get back to this week, the worst dance on Tuesday was Sara. She did good last week with the country dance but besides that she's never had it. Her dancing is boring and just plain old bad. Yuck! The looks she has on her face? She looks scary.


And why is that? I mean look at the women, all of them look so much better during their practices then when they perform. I think Vivica looked thick and old in all of her dances, besides this week. The make-up, hair, and outfit. Sara too! Her hair was only good when it was straightened last week. IMO. And I am absolutely loving Willa in the competition but this week whoever did her eye make-up needs to be fired. Ugggg. Sooo bad! Oh and even Mario's teacher, I forget her name. She is sooo pretty but I think she looks so much older and a bit scary when she has her performance face on. But meh, that's just me, I could be crazy....or not.


But let me get back on track here....

I'm not saying that Harry didn't need to go home, cause he did. He was very stiff and mechanical. But you know what I'm saying right? Just the order of who is going and when. The first guy to go, I don't even remember his name, sucked! But then the second week....wait how many eliminations were there? lol, I just remember the first guy, then Harry and now Vivica. Well whatever. Vivica shouldn't have gone home. And if Jerry doesn't go next week I'll be pissed. Then Sara needs to go!

Usually it is so easy for me to pick a favorite but this year is tough. Mario is freaking awesome, but so is Emmitt (did I spell that right?), and Willa (I love her and Maks). Even Monique blows me away. I just can't pick.

Brothers and Sisters

This show better stay on the air! Brothers and Sisters had me laughing, on the edge of my seat, mad, crying EVERYTHING. I think this show has a ton of potential. But if you go and read the Bloggers and Sisters you'll see the show actually had some hard times getting up and running. With casting and re-shooting. But I'm just glad it's on.
They have one gay brother, which believe it or not, I'm glad about. I really like to see it play out in this big family. Especially since one of the sisters is very into politics and is very conservative. But she loves him still and I don't really see an issue with them. But that sister and the mother really head butt a lot. There's the brother that went off to war and is now suffering issues from that. Then there is the oldest sister that is married with two kids and is having marriage problems. They are going to counseling and all. I am really into that plot line (no comment). There is the other brother that I think is into something with the Uncle in the family business that's not right. Then she finds out their father is somehow involved. The father dies at the end of the show, he has a heart attack and falls into the pool there for drowning. Oh and the political sister? Yeah, so far I think her boyfriend is a pompous ass, we'll see how long he's around. But I really like the show. High hopes everyone, high hopes. It comes on abc on Sundays at 10pm. WATCH IT!!!

Grey's Anatomy ~ Season Premeir

Just a little run down of my most favorite show EVER! Grey's Anatomy!!!!! Wooo hoooo. So let's get started...

Callie~ Last season I didn't like her at all, this season, I was liking her!
Don't know why, but as soon as George and her kissed I started to gag again. I can't get used to that, it looks sooo gross! Eww, don't know why, but yeah, gross.

McVet~ Bye-bye! Uggg, he wasn't even romancing at all in his little speach. Dork! And he is so not cute! Not in a McDreamy way anyway.

Izzy~ Meh, I was never feeling the Denny thing. Sorry. So no comment.
Especially not going to get into her freak out last season when trying to get him to take the heart. Ummm, no. You trying to tell me that a woman that grew up in a trailer park, modeled for money to get through medical school, and gave up her daughter cause she couldn't raise her right would throw everything away for a man?

Addison~ I will never feel sorry for her! She can get with someone else and maybe I'll cheer her on but not with Derek. She cheated WITH HIS BEST FRIEND, so she lost the right to him.
And it sucks but I am thinking she'll end up being pregnant and Derek may not leave her. I hope not, but we'll see.

Meredith~ If she doesn't choose Derek I might have to smack her. Nuff said.

Christina~ I love her but was I the only one that laughed when she cried? I mean the sentiment was sweet and all but she's just not a good crier. lol.

Baily~ I don't know what was up with her. Maybe she was over emotional because of Denny dying. But I'm sure we'll get our bitching Baily back soon.

DEREK~ "You have a choice to make. Take all the time you need, cause you have a choice and when I had a choice I chose wrong." OMG I love him!!!!

I am soooo looking forward to this season! Burke and Christina next week? HOT! Looks sooo funny. Meredith's underwear getting pinned to the bulletin board? FUNNY! Goodness, I am sooo glad this show is back. How did I get through the summer? It's a wonder.

So what other shows are you all watching or looking forward to? I started to watch Prison Break for the first time, it's alright. Also Vanished, also okay. Hmmm, I can't wait for The OC and One Tree Hill. And I think I might watch ER this year. Oh and Till Death? Pretty funny so far, and whenever I'm home with J I watch The Office with him, and Survivor. Weeew, that's a lot, huh? lol.

Well my husbands vacations started today so I won't be posting as much. I start my vacation on Monday. When JD's home I don't get to be on the computer as much. And we'll probably be taking some day trips with the kids to different places.

I'm baaaacccckkkkk!

HI everyone! I'm back. OMG I hate not having service. It really sucks. You don't know how much I missed being here. I have so many blogs to catch up on. I hope you all have good stuff for me to go read now. lol.
I really had it out with Comcast.
We had a huge storm on Friday night and it knocked out our phone and Internet service. We didn't get to call about it till Sunday since J had his B-day party and all on Saturday. So anyway, we call and they have us do all these tests and all on the computer and it still didn't work, so they said they'd send a technician out on Monday between 3 and 7. Don't you know after I spend my entire afternoon at home waiting they show up at 6:45. Uggg. The guy comes in does his thing, goes outside and does his thing and tells us that it's a outside line and it's there fault. Duh. And they will have my service up by that night.
Tuesday morning rolls around and guess what??? No service! I wanna kill them. So after being on hold for 25 min. talking to three people for a total of an hour I get told that it will be done within 24 hours. Well I'm not happy about waiting but okay.
Surprise surprise, I wake up this morning with still NO SERVICE! And mind you my phone is out too, so I'm running up all kinds of minutes on my cell phone. After again talking forever to two different people guess what I'm told????? "sorry mama, but you should be talking to a different department" What the FUCK!!!! Are you kidding me? After 5 freaking days they are only telling me this NOW???? I wanted to hurt someone. I flipped on the manager, yup that's right I got the manager on the phone. I'm all "do you even train your workers???? Why am I only getting this information now???" Totally flipped. Anyway, after talking to the RIGHT department it was fixed within 2 hours. They bumped it up to priority and had a technician come right out.

So tell me. Did you miss me and all my ranting and complaining??? Cause let me tell you I'm all bottled up here, I've got a lot more to vent about. lol. Stay tuned.
