They had the live press conference piped in at work. Everybody was dead silent listening to it.
It's awful.
He's not amish. A local guy who picked up milk from their farms. he was Married with three kids. Sent his kids off to the school bus. Left notes to each of his kids and wife then went to the schoolhouse.
He let the boys go. There were women there (teacher's aids) (one pregnant, I think two others with babys. Let them go too. The teacher got out to call 911). He brought 2x4s and 2x6s and barred the doors. Had a hand gun and a shot gun. Lined up the girls against the chalkboard. Tied their feet (THEIR FEET FOR GOD'S SAKE!) with plastic tie cuffs. Shot. them. in. the. head.
3 confirmed dead. 4 including him. (Coroners saying 6 dead- not confirmed here yet). Numerous airlifted to hospitals all over the place.
They speculate that this is some sort of reprisal for something that happened 20 yrs ago but nothing confirmed.
I'm sick and in tears. (Especially hearing about how they died and that one little girl died in the arms of a cop.)
The ages of the dead so far were 8 to 13 yrs of age ...
This happened not even an hour from where I live. This makes me so sick to my stomach. Why do people do this???? I'm sure we will eventually get more information on the why but it will never change what happened. And it will never make the man come alive so he can pay the consequences for his actions. It's not fair that he gets to do this and then just go away. He should have to suffer. But then again, with the way our system is how much would he actually suffer if he were here to go to jail???
My heart is in a million pieces for these families. And the fear that must have been racing through these little girls minds before they died. I cannot even control my tears as I write this.
It scares me to send my child to school everyday in a world with psycho's like this.

I know how you feel...I HATE that these kinds of things happen to kids and it sucks even worst because the guy isn't even alive to pay for the damage he left behind, it makes it all the more worst.
My heart is broken for the families of the little girls and everyone else who fell victim to this psycho!
Oh God. I hadn't heard until now. That's horrible. I don't know how or why people do this, especially to children. Children!
My heart goes out to all the families, their lives will never be the same again. :(

I wish there was something to say. the world is full of sick, twisted, perverted people who need to drop dead before they harm anyone.
