JD has forever wanted a 'guy room', you know a place to put up all his football stuff that he buys and I don't let him put anywhere else in the house. lol. So he's finally got it. His urge for one always becomes bigger right around preseason stuff for football, and since I am going to Vegas in November I figured why not. So the loft is his. It used to be the kids playroom but they were mostly just going up there getting toys and bringing them down to the living room or their room, so what the heck. The only rule? He had to keep two things up there. That big blue ball rolling game thing you see in this picture, cause it's to big to put anywhere else in the house and the kids love it. And J's basket ball thing. It's just a plastic hoop but I don't want it down stairs. So here's a picture...
It's so not done, obviously. You can still see the blue paint tape up. He painted the back wall grey (for the eagles) side walls white, and will hang all his eagles stuff up on the grey wall. He actually went to Home Dept and got "Eagles Grey" paint. *rolling eyes* And the football rug? lol, that used to be in J's room, we bought it for him. ha ha. And the sofa table you see in front of the window? yeah, that's coming down stairs, I just have to stain it first. It doesn't match the wood I have in the rest of the house. And that's J's recliner kinda just sitting there randomly, so cute it matches JD's to a T. And here's another angle of the room. 
Oh and quick story behind that busted up fan? I was purposely annoying JD one night cause I was mad at him. And he threw the fan across the room and it fell down the stairs. So it broke all up, and he taped it back together. Don't know why we didn't just trash it. But now it kinda holds fond memories. lol. After he threw it I looked at him and said "Hmmm, do you feel better now?" ha ah ha!
Oh what the hell, since I posted pics of JD's guy room, lets show a picture or two of my room! The living room. Where my computer and books are.
Excuse the rug thrown over the railing. I didn't even notice it till I looked at the picture. It's my kitchen rug, but I was moping so I threw it there for a bit.
I'm going to be getting some kind of cover for that couch, I'm not really feeling the color. But it is soooo comfy!
So what do you think? Who has the better room. lol, I know what one the guys will pick.

Most definetly. But I am happy for me, too! I always wanted a library type room. And grant it is my living room but it's all books and computer with a comfy couch. And I'm getting a wing chair. JD was trying to put a TV in my room and I'm all NO, I don't want one. lol.
Joey's guy room is going to be a garage when ever we buy a house. lol. I told him the only thing is when we have kids and they get old enough, naked pictures have to come down. lol.
HAve you ever seen Failure to Launch? ha ha. The guy finally gets his room. Which is a naked room. lol
yeah I saw that movie a few weeks ago. To funny. JD isn't allowed naked pics on walls or out in the open at all. lol.
Looks good Jazz, I love it! =) I like JD's room but I like your girly library room better, but that's just me! =) I have your computer desk, but we usually put the laptop on there. Cutesy!

Yes as in Philidelphia Eagles Grey. Their colors are grey, white, and green and maybe black? Hmmm, well at least when I look at JD's jersey that's the colors I see. lol. And even though it is his room I am NOT having a wall in my house painted that ugly Green. So the wall is Grey and he can hang all his Eagles stuff up. He even wants to get a fat head. You know what I'm talking about?
First off I LOVE your big wall bookshelf! That is great. You should see the area I have to try and stuff all my books in.

That bookshelf is what sold me on the place. I saw it and was like "I'll take it!" lol. Loveeee it!
I'll admit, I'm a football nut, too. But when there's none on I would rather hangout in your space. I would probably lay down with my muddy timberlands on your comfy couch and read your books.

NO muddy boots on my comfy couch. ha ha. But if you wanna read my romance books, Okkaaayyy. Just messing, I have some James Patterson, Dean Koontz (sp?) and others like that. Just mostly romance. And I didn't start out collecting spoons. JD's grandmom did and when she moved to Florida she didn't want to take anything with her, so I said I'd take them. I thought they were cool, and something I could pass on to A one day. And I've added a few here and there since I got them.
